ALTERNATE REALITY (A 1-Man Play)
Alter Ego (AE): Just like what Venom said in that movie, "The way I see it, we can do whatever we want."
ME: I want and it's reasonable but I don't think I can do it.
AE: Are you a pussy or a pushover or simply trash?
ME: I'd do it if it'll help.
AE: Do it because that's the way it should be.
ME: I don't know if it's the right thing to do.
AE: You're overly righteous.
ME: But...I feel bad about myself.
AE: Because you're not doing what you're supposed to do.
ME: How do I face the consequences of my actions?
AE: Man up. Everything will turn for the best.
ME: Why did God put me in this situation?
AE: God created this multiverse and HE (as traditionally called; pardon the gender bias) can probably anticipate what's going to happen next but intervening 24/7 seems to be off his books. Look at what's happening around you.
ME: Free will.
AE: Exactly.
ME: I have to do something for Divine Intervention to take place.
AE: More like God gave you the right to do wrong to learn from it.
ME: Okay. But, I'd just like to tell my wife that at the first sign of extreme physical pain and I already resigned to it, I don't want to be revived anymore.
AE: The next life sounds better in paper.
